Click on the link below to find out how Peter Gabriel is putting a new slant on LEGAL free downloads. More power to his elbow, that's what I say!

The embedded ads can be removed after a month, the files are DRM free and weigh in at CBR 192 kbps! I hope the bastard record companies are really squirming now....coz if they're not, they soon will be!

  Dance Ejay

Has anyone used this program (available on PC) before?

Dance Ejay is available for amateurs to create their own dance club music. It is simple and yet professional sounding. Ultimately it is a lot of fun to use, and I kinda miss it as I haven't been using the computer much for ages.

  Music Composition Software
Posted by: ambernector - 04-01-2008, 20:27 - Forum: Off Topic Chat - Replies (3)

What Music Composition Software do you use and what style of music do you compose or produce?

I was taught to use Sibelius on Apple Mac. Mainly I mainly did Double Bass solo's with keyboard back round. Overall pretty rubbish stuff as it hasn't made me famous. But I did enjoy using Sibelius and found it easy to navigate at the time (90's).

Interested to know what modern day producers would use?

As people are joining, it is interesting to know who is completely new to the site, and who was apart of the original site. Please vote, please also introduce yourself (if not already) whether you were apart of the old Music Discussion?

Recommend a Jazz or Blues CD to buy?
Posted by: ambernector - 03-01-2008, 23:29 - Forum: Jazz/Big Band/Easy Listening/Soft Rock - Replies (11)

I am someone who is always willing to expand my horizons, and CD collection.

What I currently enjoy listening to is trio type JAM music, and ideally with a Double Bass as I love the deep sound it produces.

Therefore, if anyone thinks of a good CD you enjoy, and maybe think I might also. Then please post the details :coffee:

Mine this year is to give up smoking. Which was the same last year as well. :angry:Sick

Actually, considering we are already into the new year, things aren't going too well on this front. Sick:innocent:
