Queen are the godfathers of stadium rock. There isn't a corner of the world where someone doesn't know the rock anthems like "We will rock you" "We are the champions" and "Bohemian Rhapsody". Fronted by Freddie Mercury, with the voice of an angel, Queen Rocked the 70's and 80's until the untimely death of Freddie Mercury in the early 90's. As of today Queen has sold an estimated 300 million records worldwide. Inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.

I have plenty of artists I'd like to nominate, will propose some more in time... but better do my homework first so I don't propose Queen or The Beatles again...
