I know we have pop stars and country stars but that's not what I mean. Do you think we'll ever have larger than life rock stars again? Or is rock just not cool anymore?

Good question.

Thinking about this, there does seem to be a bit of a lack of the colourful stars we've seen in the past. Can't believe that we won't see someone's star burn very brightly pretty soon...

At this point in time in music I don't think the general music public en masse is prepared to accept as you say Trace, "larger than life rock stars".

Its a different time in music ....IMHO TOO MANY ARTISTS AND BANDS OUT THERE AND TOO MUCH MUSIC !!!!!...and I might humbly add ...most of it is good !!!!

How can anyone rise up as The Rock Star with so many "competitors " today. It's all timing...years ago with less accessible music it was possible !
 The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!
