yeah, I definitely ask this too. But really, I don't think it's about the music itself. You can just tell a lot about a person by what they listen to.

I don't ask anymore if the people I meet like music. Everyone says 'yes' but it usually turns out they are only into a very limited spectrum of music. It's one of the reasons I came here. My older friends, the ones that used to be in bands etc are the only ones who seem to continue to seek out new music and appreciate older and various types of music as well.
