And explain your comments...not just in a word !!!!!...IMHO doesn't hold water when one says - i.e. - The Marx Brothers suck ...and that's it. There's no opinion there so I am not buying the comment it's my opinion !!!!!
Heed Jerome's advice and focus on the positive !!!! I don't know how anyone can slam any musician anyway !!!!??????...it's too subjective,,,to each his own !!! I'm tired with this .... Jerome Wrote:Aah yes - but therein lies the crux of the matter. It's only YOUR opinion that something is more worthy. Not neccessarily mine or anyone else's for that matter..........live and let live. Instead of focusing on something you don't like start a thread about something you do. You will reap far more rewards. Each to their own.

The Endless River was a catastrophe. They were just rehashing old ideas.

I never bothered listening to it, I figured a diehard fan like yourself should know and I took your advice....
some band/artists don't know when to say "enough is enough, lets keep our legacy intact"... that said, The Rolling Stones are releasing another new studio album next year, not that im a fan, but they destroyed their legacy decades ago IMO!

Hi, I'm Gustavo Woltmann, for me the best is Wish you were here. Also I agree that Pink Floyd is best in rock n Roll!

I didn't notice this comment about The Endless River above earlier, and I need to respond.
I like it. It is not on a level with Dark Side, WYWH or even The Division Bell, but it is an album of pretty good music and contains nothing I would dream of skipping. These were mostly out-takes, and a band that can produce material as good as this that does not make it onto the album at the time is something to be wondered at. I don't think they destroyed their legacy at all. This stuff may have been recorded years ago, but it was all newly released and new to the ears of most people. Compare this with artists who serve up reheated "re-imaginings" of their earlier songs when they run out of ideas. Or - worse - doing other people's songs on the obligatory late-career "soul" album or "blues" album. There are many examples - no point in naming names. If Gilmour had wanted to trash the PF legacy, he would have put out an album of reworked material from the Waters-led era and the Barrett era.

And as for Roger's re-imagined DSOTM - what a load of rubbish. His ego is starting to overpower his sanity.
