Crystal Bowersoxâ¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦.Farmerâs Daughter
I was not sure what was to be expected here: previous posts from the site told me that Crystal was associated with âIdolâ but even that can produce talent at times and here it seem to have managed it.
Track One Ride With The Radio: Rock and Country was how the beginning of this one struck me , quite quickly, I liked he feel of the track and felt that the album had captured my imagination well. To start withâ¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦
Track Two For What Its Worth: This is clearly a cover of the old track by Buffalo Springfield, whilst she does not add anything to the original version this is a good cover and makes good listening !
Track Three Farmerâs Daughter : A gentle track with personal lyrics: Mum who wasnât there for her in childhood â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦..
Track Four Holy Toledo: Gentle country , with touching lyrics.
Track Five Lonely Wont Come Around: Catchy little tune ! I liked this one !
Track Six Hold On: Another good track : acoustic guitar, strong vocal and relevant lyric.
Track Seven On The Run: Variety is the spice of life and this is a little different, reminded me a little Shinia Twain, same bustling approach and fast vocal style.
Track Eight Kiss Ya: Another romp through keyboards, guitar vocal and drums .
Track Nine Speak Now: Another little Gem!
Track Ten Mine All Mine: Jangly guitar, nice vocal and gentle country arrangement. What more could you want?
Track Eleven Mason: Another nice gentle country track with good lyrical content.
Track Twelve Arlene :The last trackâ¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦.Iâm feeling a little sad because I was looking forward to a bit more, another good story-in-a-song track.
Crystal has a sweet voice and a good feel for a country approach, lyrically the music, has the correct ingredients : they are personally involved and convey feeling about past wrongsâ¦â¦â¦â¦â¦..This is what country rock is all aboutâ¦â¦â¦â¦..
