This week I have opted to do something a little different....................normally we review an album but this time it will be just the one track!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have received a request from a new member , to review their latest single..........
So I thought we would comply with the request

I hope that all members will feel free to listen to the track via the link and give a review of their own.......
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown..............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )

Track One Mirror Image Land 7
The first thing I would mention is the cover, it has a great feel to it and allows one to play mind games with the title â Mirror Image Land 7 â ( By the way, were there Mirror Image lands 1 to 6 ?)
To go to the music, we are looking at a guitar based feedback approach which reminds me much of the performance of Jimi Hendrix at Woodstockâs âStar Spangled Banner.â This track certainly interested me and I would like to hear moreâ¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦.

Hi gryphon,
First of all, thank you for creating this review thread and for your kind words, I very much appreciate it.
As to the track title -- originally it used to be Mirror Image Land without #7. Then I decided to edit it a bit, the number of the project was 7 and I had to call it differently, thus the title. Ironically, the idea of this music piece is that we live in this 'mirror image land' world, and since this planet number is 7 if you count it from outside the solar system -- it appears to be not that much of a coincidence...
By the way, it feels odd that you compare it to âStar Spangled Bannerâ by Jimi Hendrix, as Hendrix was an incredible guitar player not to mention a legend and a guitar god...

Next track of mine that is awaiting the release is called 'Infinity' which is a beautiful acoustic guitar instrumental, I hope you like it. Plus, I have more incredible ideas for full-scale studio instrumental project and I hope it will be done eventually.
Thanks once again!

I didn't care for it.
That's just me.
I don't like instrumentals.
I like meat with my potatoes.
I'm sure it was brilliant guitar work.
Then again, old 2-chord Steve Miller would be brilliant guitar work to me.

Thank you for the compliment about brilliant guitar work, however I do understand your comment about Steve Miller. I'm also being a guitar player in a popular local rock band where I don't play the way you heard on this release. Our songs tend public to face social abscesses, that was the main reason I joined them. Oh, and of course music is good.

....and 3-chord Mr.neil young.
theres an old saying i was taught when i started guitar lessons... "KISS" which means Keep It Simple Stupid. sometimes less is more.
i'd rather hear a solid 'A' or 'D' chord than some maestro who sounds like an angry bee!

heard your song after my previous post, while i admit there are thousands of people who like what i call 'wanksey' guitar work, sadly i am not one of them, and you sound like the 'angry bee' i was just talking about, nevertheless, good luck with your journey, although i dont like it that much, my hat is tipped to anyone who has the balls to write their own material, and many will enjoy what you do...thats the great thing about music, keep going foreward mate, follow your destiny, as long as you believe in what you are doing and are passionate about it, dont let my nor music head's comments put you off 'rocking"!
