R.I.P. Country Joe McDonald. He was 84 - complications due to Parkinsons. Horrible disease. The man seems to have walked his talk throughout his life, remaining committed to the plight of Vietnam veterans and anti war, generally. We could use more with his convictions! Good for him say I.

i had never heard of him so i Wiki'd him and listened to at least a dozen tracks, very good for the most part and some of what i heard had that distinct 70-71 Plastic Ono/Lennon vibe to it, i will explore his music further.
