But I feel every parent has the right to know what's right for their goods & what's not..
& trust me I might be too young to discuss this & I am most certainly not a parent..

But I am someone's son.. & there is this bad memory I have.. it had an adverse effect on me.. I sometimes wish my parents were controlled on me on certain things.. But I blame myself more.. I rather not discuss that here..

anyway sorry this topic annoyed you.. but it's just people sharing their opinions & views, I don't think it means anyone offense, everyone has a right to share their thoughts..

Sorry all! A bit of a sensitive issue for me as I have a young daughter who has always felt very strongly about how she dresses and continues to always look different from the crowd. It's so much a part of who she is, I couldn't possibly tell her not to.

She's pretty fearless about this but I know people's reactions hurt her at times - so the whole, daughters shouldn't look like this vibe just hit a nerve, even though at the moment she tends to look more like some-one from the 20s than the 80s.

I know there is no black and white to these issues though - so sorry if my mumzilla act was unsettling.

p.s. I can be a whole lot scarier than this!

And on topic - the only artist I think I hate is Mika - in my head he got the success that Patrick Wolf was cued up for - and also maybe Avenged Sevenfold.

I hate 50 Cent.

He is a disgrace to the word music.. I usually hate Hip-Hop.. But I have no issues with Rap.. I feel there are some good Rap artists with ability to write nice lyrics...

But I can't stand 50 Cent.

On my part, I can say that most music I can't stand come from my Province, Quebec. Unfortunately, they are all french speaking and probably none of you know them. But I will list them anyway:

- Beau Dommage (my hate for this one is particularly intense; it's an old band, and from my early childhood to my adulthood (now), even with my musical openness and experience, I STILL can't stand them. I can say it's for life. Guess what? It's one of the most respected band from Quebec; their songs still play regularly on radio, they became great "classics"; I seem alone in this hatred.)

- Boom Desjardins (commercial radio wannabe that actually succeeded at it)

- Bruno Pelletier (typical "great singer" with a typical look)

- Zachary Richard (the only song I know of him is one of my bottom 10 worst songs ever)

And I have another artist I can't stand: Eminem. Why? Because of his redundant look that I just can't stand. I hate his image. But I think he compose great music, so it's only his image that instantly get on my nerve every time I see a picture of him.

There are a few music artists I don't care for. But I really don't dwell on them and can't think of any at the moment. I prefer to spend time and thought on the music I enjoy.
