Name any artist or band you just hate.
State the reason as to why you hate them, could be their music.. looks.. or maybe because you feel they are overrated.

I don't like 'The Spice Girls'. For many reasons;
Musically they are talentless. Crap songs. I don't like the reason they stand for. When they were popular in the 90's, I remember seeing little girls aged 7/8 dressed up like the spice girls. Would you want your daughter looking and acting them one of them?
I bet I am not alone with my feelings on this.
With Regards...

Guess I feel the same way about Madonna, except she has had some good songs over the years. With a career that long, it's hard not to.

I hate 50 Cent.
He is a disgrace to the word music.. I usually hate Hip-Hop.. But I have no issues with Rap.. I feel there are some good Rap artists with ability to write nice lyrics...
But I can't stand 50 Cent.

Madonna is okay.. I have no issues with her. She has made some nice music, which I like.. I love "Ray of light".
Spice Girls, they have been annoying sometimes.. but still tolerable.. But I found Destiny's Child far more annoying.

My Madonna issues were not with her music, but with her actions.
When you're trying to raise 2 pre-teen girls, she is not someone you want them to emulate, which was all the rage back in the 80's. Still to this day she comes across as, how shall we say this, "a slut", as on her recent David Letterman appearance. And she loves that image. At some point you need to grow up.

This all sounds a bit sexist to me - there are plenty of male musician 'role models' that are more openly promiscuous than Madonna and this doesn't seem to be a problem.

I think it's just parents concerned about their kids, especially the daughters.
I don't think it's sexist..

From the 'danger' of wanting to dress like the Spice Girls or Madonna?
I think the issue of young girls wanting to dress in a way that might be negatively portrayed pre-dates the 1980s.
Sorry - but it's a bigger issue than what a musician does and it seems cheap to just throw the blame at some-one who at least portrays an image of a strong woman
-also ? 'especially the daughters' ?- sorry I know you're young but this topic has hacked me off.
