Sonic pioneer and Krautrock original Holger Czukay has died aged 79 ... R.I.P. At this stage nobody seems to know details other than that he was found in his flat after workmen in the area had noticed that there hadn't been any activity around his apartment for a few days. Shocked that Troy is gone!! I really liked Montgomery Gentry!!
Did not know Glen Campbell had died but I knew he was sick.

What a terrible sadness for Steve Howe and his family. His younger son, Virgil, has died unexpectedly and tragically – no further details as yet. He was 42 - a drummer with Little Barrie and had some other projects, including an instrumental album with Steve which is due to be released in November. Yes has understandably cancelled their tour.
 
I know of Virgil because he both wrote the track and plays keys on one of my favourites from his dad’s album, Time … “Kindred Spirits” … R.I.P. Virgil Howe.
