The Beatles brought Rock'n'Roll back to America after it had been lost/subsumed by the Brill Building lesser lights and corporate scamsters. Can't imagine anyone having that impact again (the Rolling Stones brought Black music to White America and the Beach Boys using brilliant harmonies brought a hedonistic "boomer' lifestyle to Middle America but that's not the same thing--the Beatles were electrifying). And you were comparing them to tomorrow's fish-wrap? Really? The Bay City Rollers of the new century.
