What I think of the new site?
I prefer the old. In fact, what was wrong with the old?
I did not try every part of the new one, maybe some functions are way better, but just by appearance and general view I prefer the old.
And where the hell is the "User CP" now?

I don't think we had a choice here.
It was one of those convert or lose support things from vbulletin.
techman can verify that.
Gotta keep those software writers in business.
As far as the User CP, if you click on Settings in the upper right, I believe all the options are there.

Yep the plan was not to change the site design when we upgraded to the latest version of Vbulletin. However, in the latest version Vbulletin had changed much of the template system meaning our old site design was not going to work.
As music head said, click 'Settings' top righthand corner. It is exactly the same as 'User CP'. But things for the feedback Drealm.

So true. There are so many programs and websites that are 'new and improved' and are really 'unnessessarily newish and suck'. I use CoolEdit a lot and then it was bought by Adobe and the program was re-packaged as 'Audition'. Basically, they got rid of all the functions I used regularily and replaced them with smooth and bubbly graphics that don't work. The newest Flash (hey, it's by Adobe as well) has great behind the scene rendering engines but the user interface is dreadful. So I use Flash 8 and render with Flash 10.
I notice YouTube is undergoing a 'new improved' process and gets more unusable by the day. Firefox had a major upgrade and simply crashed all the time, but thankfully the latest upgrades seem to be fixing the problems of the upgrade before.

Interesting Penny. I am still a Macromedia fireworks and dreamweaver man myself. Macromedia also got taken over by Adobe and branded into their designer suites. Adobe's price list is excessive to say the least, whilst offering many other programs that I don't really need.
Yeah, new YouTube sucks ass.

Yes, Flash was Macromedia. I like dreamweaver as well. Kind of like the media companies...there get to be fewer and fewer, or Coke and Pepsi, basically they are the only two left...I'm sure Iota will have a pithy comment on this
