Lyle Mays - keyboardist and musician extraordinaire. He passed away on the 10th of February after complications from a recurring illness - he was 66. Closely affiliated with Pat Metheny - a very sad loss. R.I.P.  Sad

found international prominence/success in the mid 1980s by playing on Paul Simon's Graceland album and subsequent tour with him


well respected musician and humanitarian

became his permanent drummer in 1966 and never left.

I just asked because he really blurred the line between pop and country for me a lot of the time anyway...
