At the risk of sounding modest, i may have been mistaken in my initial statement of been sophisticated in my taste in genres. The reason i said so is based on culture, because in the culture i come from (Black, African), listening to such music is out of the norm. So here it is; Rock and Pop. I do listen to a wide variety of music, but have recently developed a taste for the abovementioned genres. Having said that, the types of songs i like from either are quite specific, and i tend to go for a certain type of sound(usually sexy with class). I have also recently developed a taste for house. Of all genres, i cannot abide Reggae or Ragga or any other energy sapping type of sound.
All things considered, i am willing and looking for any songs/bands that i can check out of my chosen types or otherwise, in order to broaden my horizons.
P.S. The reason i said i consider myself sophisticated also, is because i believe i can get really descriptive about a song, especially if i like it.:blah::blah::blah:
