Not offended at all. Pretty funny stuff.
Actually I've asked questions similar to this of my dear wife, who is the bible scholar of the family. Me, I do read the bible frequently and go through church phases occasionaly. Anyway her answer is always, once Jesus came and went, all the old testament stuff went out the window. I do not know how she draws this conclusion. But I do know better than to press the matter.
