Musical Deaths 2023:
#51
R.I.P. Mo Foster - a very busy bass player (among other roles) who seems to have led an extremely productive life in the biz. He was 78. Here's his rather impressive Wiki ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mo_Foster

I am seeing it said that legendary singer Sinead O Conner has gone forward due to mental disease issues. She was 56.

God bless you and her family always!!!

Holly

P.S. I never knew that she was from Ireland.
Listen to my most favorite singer here sometime, James Otto that is!

RIP Sinead.

a tortured soul (much like Britney Spears in a lot of ways)...

never a huge fan but this Prince written song was a pop masterpiece that she made her own:

"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..."  -  Me 2014.

JOHN GOSLING  (75)

who?,
keyboards' guy for UK rockers The Kinks during arguably their greatest period 1970-1978 (the concept album years)...
his playing was an intricate part of their 1970s sound and he even had a part (although uncredited) in the writing of their biggest and most well known hit "Lola".

RIP John.
