Not a huge 'boss' fan and only have a handful of his albums but 'The Ghost of Tom Joad' I consider to be an absolute masterpiece. I can really connect wih that album. Don't have the faintest notion why though.

Did see Bryan Adams live a few years back...he translates better live like many other bands !!!!!...hey maybe I have a new thread here !!!!!

Taste is all very objective, but I find that the more music I listen to, slowly but surely, the more music I tend to embrace. Even stuff that I used to hate. Either that or I'm just getting old !!
I started to try and put a list together of major influential artists that I find over hyped, and my list just consisted of rubbish like Bryan Adams, so I guess I must like most of the revered acts !!
Goos thread though, gets to the heart of why musical taste is such a mysterious subject.

Again the demographic poll shows a lot of younger members so they really can't be expected to relate to older musicians !!!!!...can they ????

He released one godly album ("Nebraska") and the rest I really couldn't care about
