For me, lyrics would be the easy part. Sit down with a pen and some paper and just start writing whatever comes into your head even if it doesn't make any sense at first. Keep doing it and it will. You can write a song about anything and often you can write a song that only you get. The music geeks will have fun trying to dissect it and figure out what it means

Just write about simple everyday happenings in your life...nothing too complicated.
A lot of the successful groups do that ! it appeals to the listener because they can relate to it !
The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!

just keep writing. the more you write the better you'll get at it, even if your lyrics are a little weak at first. you'll also start to notice how other bands write their songs. just keep on keepin on.

The lyrics should be such that it touches the heart. Don't depend on anybody. Write what you feel naturally.
