just heard on the national news that the Beatles catalogue is now available for online streaming
I did not know it was not available previously
that being the case, regarding the singles chart discussions we have previously had here
shouldn't every freaking Beatles song now hit the chart again?
wouldn't that be cool?

I guess that they would probably re-enter the charts in the UK if they were to do so anywhere...
that means the albums should appear in the lower reaches of the charts also...

The lads are still popular...sold 900,000 units this year according to the CBC TV report...probably ITunes, CDs, DVDs ,Vinyl and other paid downloads. I presume it also includes albums and singles.

and on the actual "streaming chart" they are:
#5....the beatles (white album)
#6....1
#13..1967-70
#15..yellow submarine
#16..1963/the bootleg recordings
#20..'mono'
#23..abbey road
#26..on air:live at the bbc:volume II
#30..'stereo'
#32..sgt peppers lonely hearts club band
#37..magical mystery tour
#43..1962-66
#46..hey jude
#48..revolver
#51..yesterday and today
#61..rubber soul
#63..revolver (US version)
#68..let it be
#75..the capitol albums-volume II
