In a career that has already spanned nearly a half century, Jorma Kaukonen has been the leading practitioner and teacher of fingerstyle guitar, one of the most highly respected interpreters of American roots music, blues, and Americana, and at the forefront of popular rock-and-roll.

He was a founding member of two legendary bands, The Jefferson Airplane and the still-touring Hot Tuna, a Grammy nominee for his highly acclaimed “Blue Country Heart,” and the most in-demand instructor in the galaxy of stars who teach at the guitar camp that he and his wife operate in picturesque Southeastern Ohio, The Fur Peace Ranch.

Does anyone have Mark Colby's "Serpentine Fire" album in MP3 format? This album originally came out in the early 70s. I sure would like to get a copy of it.

Hello Everyone

I just joined today. I hope this will become very useful areas of musical discussion.

As for me I am in my late 50s, father of two, daughter and son. I used to play lead guitar in the 60s in various amateur band. For many years I have put aside my guitar but recently started practicing again in hopes of playing old 60s songs from The Ventures and Shadows with some of my old original band buddies from way back when.

My musical interests nowadays are jazz fusion and songs from the 60s. Some of my recent favorites musicians are Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, Eric Gale. Steve Gadd, Richard Tee, Steve Khan and others.

Some of the groups I like to listen are Stuff, Ventures, Shadows, Brecker Brothers,

Somehow my original post did not go thru.

Does anyone have original song by The Ventures called "Raunchy Guitar" in MP3 format? This was in the "Dance" Album in the mid 1960s.

The Macpodz are an electrified jazz quintet from Ann Arbor, Michigan. In the traditions of Miles Davis and Frank Zappa, this ensemble pushes the boundaries of rock, jazz and fusion music. Drummer Griffin Bastian and percussionist Nick Ayers drive the rhythm behind bassist Brennan Andes, keyboardist Jesse Clayton and trumpeter Ross Huff. The band coined the term “Disco Bebop” at their first gig in early 2006, after playing a four on the floor roller rink remix of the Charlie Parker tune, “Dewey Square.”

The band is currently on a Spring 2008 tour in support of their newest release; Orcastrate with many dates scheduled throughout the Midwest and Northeast.

Thought I'd start a thread about obtaining album cover art. So... some people are control-freaks about having high-resolution cover art, like me. I'd be able willing to hunt down stuff for people, just post a request I guess.

Along with that... does anyone have cover art for Muse's Showbiz? Or Trapt's self-titled. Never been able to find something high-resolution for those. When I mean high-resolution, I mean 400x400+...

This is a recording made out of two tracks. One is rythm + chant and another is somekind of bop. http://www.henriklarssonbauman.com/musik/gilgabop.mp3
