Whenever people talk about "guitar gods", it's always the usual stew of Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, etc. I call bull; surely there's so much to it than that. Why never any love for John Fahey, Derrick Bailey, or Sonny Sharrock
Hopefully this thread will rectify that. I named my favorites up there already, what about you guys?

Snakefinger. His entire arsenal were homemades and pawnshop guitars. Playing non-sussed instruments sussed .... that was a brilliant approach.
