Hello!!

My name is John Rockenbach, I am a sophomore in college majoring in comm/media. I go to school in western Pennsylvania although I am from the Philadelphia area. I am a DJ on the school's radio show called Afternoon Archives, which is a strictly classic rock-ish show.

I am into almost all kinds of music my favorites are blues and straight up rock. I also enjoy other genres: Alternative, Singer/Songwriter, Folk, some Punk, some Country, most contemporary rock, and occasionally electronic-ish music of it doesn't annoy me too much.

I am excited to be part of this site because all my friends are so narrow minded about music and we all have different tastes, a lot of them will tell others how much their music sucks (which is insanely annoying). So I look forward to talking with some open minded music lovers. Thanks for reading!!

your friends seem immature if they automatically diss other people's musical choices..."listen to as much as you possibly can as you never know what you may discover" is my motto

i listen t albums by bands i do not like and sometimes i find an album worth buying, or at least several tracks that i really like....

Welcome to MD. Lots of music discussed here and we look forward to your recommendations and views. I think it is very cool of you to ask us what classic rock songs we'd like to hear. My mind hasn't stopped thinking about the "lost songs" that I just do not hear much anymore.
