My daughter took the grand daughter to her first concert last night. Age 6, geez! my first was not till about age 16. Taylor Swift performed in Lexington. Hey, lighten up. At least it wasn't Hannah Montana. I actually like Taylor. A classy little girl. Just hope she stays that way.
Anyway just curious what everybodys first was, and at what age.

As far as I can remember the first real concert I went to see was in 1977 "The Bunch Of Stiffs Concert" this was in the early days of stiff records and had on the bill .............Ian Dury...........Elvis Costello..........Nick Lowe, Wreckless Eric...............A great concert and all were just about unknown ( Although Ian Dury had been in Kilburn and The Highroads ) Those were the days
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown..............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )

My first one locally was UK "Space Rock" band The Hawklords (Hawkwind under a legal name change), in about '78. Aged 15.
First big one was Pink Floyd performing The Wall at Earls Court in London in '79. Aged 16.

My first concert was "The Canadian Brass". My Dad took me and I was 14 (playing trombone at the time). It was magical.

Totally agree
Not much in "modern" country that is true country.
Earle is a gem.

Tegan and Sara when I was 15 at a small Hotel/Pub in Sydney with about only 30 of us. It was so amazing and intimate!
