the issue i have is that i appear to given up on several artists of late:
Elvis Costello, Nick Cave, Foo Fighters, John Fogerty and Neil Young
im starting to feel the same way about Neil Finn, AC/DC and to a lesser degree Bruce Springsteen.
i have come to the conclusion that either their music isnt what it used to be, i am just getting sick and tired of music in general and/or its time to move on and leave them behind?
that said, even though "the two Pauls (Weller and McCartney)" put out material that is average for what theyre capable of i cant seem to let them go even though i know theyre albums arent up to it.
is this because these two starting with The Jam/Beatles (and Elvis Presley) were really my first musical loves (and you always remember your first fondly regardless of what comes after?!?!)
any ideas or advice??????
