Heard first time today and feels like melody was taken from other song but can't remember which one.

I wouldn't say I like this song, but I've heard a lot worse on current pop charts. At least I don't find it nauseating. Also I give the song a few points for having lyrics that are actually saying something not totally trite.

I also had a vague feeling I had heard the melody before. The song reminds me of "Princess of China" by Coldplay, but that's probably only becauses the style and the rhythmic structure are similar.
