the 2015 cricket world cup officially starts tomorrow...
fourteen nations fight it out on the sports fields to decide who is the best cricketing nation in the world...
the tournament,this time, is hosted by Australia and New Zealand....
i predicted in a PM to Big Ears a week or so ago that i think the four semi-final places will be filled by:
Australia
New Zealand
South Africa
Pakistan
in this thread i will post my game by game predictions and give the results as they come in...
anyone else may also post their predictions on a game by game basis and we'll see who
correctly guesses the most games correct through the nest few weeks....

and co-hosts Australia take on England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground,AU

you guys had a half decent team a few years ago if i remember correctly...
they werent to the standards of Australia,south Africa,India,Pakistan,NZ,Sri Lanka,UK but they held their own.

now that was a bit of an upset with Ireland winning comfortably...
i know most of the Irish guys play County cricket in the UK, but they dont play together as a team very often...

tomorrows match...New Zealand v Scotland...
ok, so a lot of the Scots play County cricket also(like the Irish),
but there aint no way they can topple the Kiwi's
so New Zealand is my prediction, and they will win comfortably IMO.
