back to the original post....
i thought the song was cool when it started,loved the indtrumentation and melody of the first verse... than in came a stupid chorus hook and it lost me right there...

I see nothing wrong with the subject even though I don't drink anymore because I was addicted and had to quit. Moderation is fine but it can get out of hand. Getting off the subject. Not every song needs a signature. But when one has one and uses it well, it speaks volumes about the production crew. I like the drum line rif at the beginning and toward the end. I have just started to pay attention to country as I need to broaden my horizons and I can add this to my bag. I do not drink so I can not relate to the content but I get the musical message, the one where the technique carries the words, and I get it.
