Another Chris born on this day is Chris Squire - 04 March 1948. Long time bass guitarist and backing vocalist for Yes and he appears on every one of their albums. I very much like the sole album he made together with Steve Hackett as Squackett - A Life Within a Day. John Frusciante - born 05 March 1970. Formerly of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and now mostly concentrating on solo efforts, although he's also collaborated with many others. Rolling Stone has previously ranked him 18th in the top one hundred best guitar players of all time; he himself believes that the great guitar masters of the 1960's remain unsurpassed. He's known for his creativity and interpretive playing rather than for virtuosity as an absolute, and I quite like the experimental aspects of his music. This song is from the sixth of six albums he recorded during the course of 2004!
