yeah, the name 'Zabrak' is mysterious. Very to-the-point, yet it's unfamiliar. I get it....
However, I'm looking for a band name where, when you search the name online, the results will be 98% related to the band. in other words, you look at a band name like 'Metallica', and it's practically a wholly unique name. When you search news archives for 'metallica' you really only get the band, about 98% of the time, practically.
That's what I'm going for. A single-word band name that's pretty much 100% tied with the band.
So anyway, the band name will be 'Climaxia'. I saw a user by that name on 4chan, and figured it'd be perfect. It has that mystique, and a bit of a sexual vibe to it. But not really, it'd depend on how you look at it. The word 'climax' could mean various things to people, so it had a Freudian thing going on.
Plus when I'd reveal the name's origin (a username on a popular internet forum) it'd kind of automatically connect us with a section of fans who are into internet humor and all that good stuff.
kind of like Deadmou5 (leet speak influenced name, so people would automatically go 'oh he's kind of one us), you know.

Oh dear Zabrak - I am afraid you will have to look elsewhere for your new band members - this one's turning 50 today! And I really don't have the right hairstyle to go with my worn leathers and studs anymore. Still at least you are thinking about how people are going to find your music etc. etc. so you clearly have some plan in place. Maybe I can be a roadie? Of course you will need to carry the cost of the Zimmer frame. Of course us old farts can always band together and form a tribute band once you are famous.

You know, all joking aside. IT is kind of weird to know that people who were young in a modern decade like the 1990s are getting 'old'. It makes ME feel old, since i grew up in the 90s. I don't know....

The Shoes (a mid-west cult band that started in the late 70's) did pretty much what you describe. According to lore, they decided one day to be a band, despite not really playing any instruments. They all chose an axe, and started doing one chord, easy beat songs, and went on to be a fantastic, albeit still cult status jangley guitar band that, last I knew, was still putting out music. Good luck. Oh, and you should play because you love to play, not to make money and be famous. That stuff will happen if it was meant to. IMHO.

Does anyone remember the British group The Climax Blues Band ? I thought they were great!!!!!...just remembered them...lol

They now go by the name of The Climax Blue Movie Band. They get more web traffic that way..............
