I recommend Charmaine Clamor, she is the creator of "Jazzipino" (combination of jazz and Filipino Music) genre. The jazzipino style of music has distinct twist. You'll also appreciate more the ukulele instrument in her songs since the ukulele is usually the most highlighted instrument in Jazzipino music.

I'm surprised Sonny Stitt (saxophone) didn't make it to the list yet

He's fantastic. Followed closely by Oscar Peterson (piano). Best of all- they did an album together which you just have to hear. "Sonny Stitt sits in with the Oscar Peterson trio" The play count of that album on my itunes won't fit in this post.

There are countless upon countless of accomplished jazz artists so quite a few are bound to be overlooked !...Try James Blood Ulmer....different type of jazz guitar !\

George Russel makes some of the most interesting jazz I've ever heard
