Okay...for those who dont play any instrument...if you had the chance to learn to play one ...which would you choose?
Its a toughy I reckon. For me...it wouldnt be narrowed down to one. I love the drums as they are the metronome to the song. I also love the SEXaphone - (I do know how it is spelt, no need to correct me)...that instrument is brilliant for bringing out the 'sultry' side of a song. Also love the flute or pan pipe...the effects of those can really send a chill down the spine...just so hauntingly euphoric sounds....

Listen to Rick Wright's solo album 'Wet Dream'. There's an instrumental track called 'Waves' which is classic Pink Floyd material. The saxophone on that is just beeeutiful.

would choose piano, but it's too hard to carry around with you

One of the smallest compact instruments ...soprano sexophone...I love the beautiful sound that flows out...Notable artist for soprano sexophone - Steve Lacy.

by the way...Dani plays piano,,,i havent heard her tinkling the ivories as yet, but it cant be worse than my guitar demo i gave her a few weeks ago...made mistake after mistake and acoustic was sadly way out of tune as i couldnt find my tuner!!!!

I've always wanted to play the piano. My husband bought me a really nice keyboard for Christmas some years ago but I've never found the time to practice or anything. I've been considering lessons but again, hard to find the time. I have been fiddling with an acoustic guitar lately.

I wouldn't mind playing the fiddle either! One of the songs I know on the guitar is The Dueling Banjos but alas I don't have a banjo either. Those things are expensive!
