Recommendations for dubstep groups !
#1
Our esteemed and knowledgeable member, Mr. Tiggi, recently recommended a few Dubstep albums recently, one being Burial - Burial !!!! I listened to it today and it blew me away !

Could the members recommend more dubstep artists, please !

The only other two I know would be the Waiting For You album by King Midas Sound, and Burial's other release Untrue, of which you're probably aware.

What in your opinion is the reason for your distaste for Dubstep ?

Burial uses so much avant garde music that I am surprised to hear you say this, Matt !

I'm probably being unfair here seeing as how I've never heard a dubstep album in it's entirety, but some things I've heard on the internet sound deafening

yea, Matt
thought you were more open minded than that
I haven't listened to much either, but not going to be critical without at least doing so.
If Tiggi and SteveO keep peaking my interest, I'll have to give it a go.

I have listened intently to Burial by Burial...A copy from my friend Charles who is a musician down the street, the entire album by the way,....I like it ...I think the millions of stupid sub genres are getting in the way !!!!!

As a footnote of personal character, Charlie , I call him that , because he prefers Charles,,,lol... is the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back...his wife Bev also!!!!...no comment on that please....lol.

They are a 45 year old couple who I befriended by the lake walking our dogs !!! Charlie has an incredible knowledge of music, he's a trained classical pianist but now just plays pop music and singalongs in the bars downtown. I mention groups from MD recommendations and he almost always gets a copy of something I mention...he has a vast network of music contacts .
It's a wonderful world knowing Charles ! Sometimes we just stand and talk on and on about music ( he likes all music like myself) and the dogs are looking pissed off...let's get walking you morons !!!!lol.

When I meet a person for the first time, after a few minutes of idle chatter, I always come around to ask them - What music are you into ? I have befriended a few very knowledgeable music nuts that way ! I look forward to talking to them as they and myself always have new recommendationes to check out !!!!!
