However on some occassion, where a post may be of interest to members, we can turn a blind eye. It is really the pointless spam we are trying to get rid of, or sole agenda of self promotion. I thought it seemed just self-promotion and to be honest it crossed my mind to wonder if the fact of the pro-god aspect made a difference. Being a non-believer sometimes I feel that all sorts of exceptions are made for religious views and this can just plain irk me. Petty is not a good look though and I will restrain myself in future!

No, my leaving the up the link had nothing to do with being 'pro-God', i take each infringement of the rules on an individual basis. i just thought it was interesting to mix gospel and rap and was hoping to spark some debate over that amalgamation of styles. other moderators,have at times, left up links if they deem it interesting(as Techman says)...unfortunately on this occasion the discussion has gone other places.

Actually this is a good debate to have. CMB, please don't restrain yourself in the future. Every day in the real world we have to live with political correctness. Not on here, say whatever is on your mind. Besides, you are among intelligent friends who will not take it out of any context.
