Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary

I only have three:
- Thief is a 1981 release which was the soundtrack to a Michael Mann movie. Ropey IMV...
- Underwater Sunlight was released in 1986, and is a fairly representative album. Instrumental, and pretty good.
- Tyger from 1987 consists of the poetry of William Blake (Tiger, tiger burning bright etc) set to music. This one's quite good, but probably isn't typical of their sound.
Also used to have a copy of their double album Zeit, which is a collection of soundscapes. Really didn't like this when I had it, but many years have passed...
I need to investigate some more TD, and this time I'll focus on the better stuff.

Underwater Sunlight, Le Parc, Tyger, White Eagle and Green Desert are good places to start. TD has over 100 releases, so the journey can be long. Enjoy

Cheers Gryphon, this was the first I'd heard of Tangerine Dream. First group I've come across with over 100 studio albums. One I've chosen to investigate is a 1990s album called '220 Volt Live'. I'll let you know what it's like.

So far all I know is that is supposedly one of their most rock-orientated albums with a few guitarists playing on it. It's d'loading as we speak.
