I realize we have no doubt done a thread similar to this in the past.
Don't feel like trolling through to search for it, so I am starting a new one.
A lot of new members have joined since then I am sure.
Crazy Horses post made me think we should do it again.
If you can't think of 10, try 5. If you want more go for it I guess.
I will put mine together at some point, meanwhile I will try and move Crazy Horses post over here and let him have had the kickoff.

I actually took some time to think carefully about mine. Several lists, then combined them into a few lists and then drew up a final list. Here's my top ten albums:
1. Pink Floyd 'The Wall'
2. Autechre 'Tri Repetae'
3. Metallica 'Ride the Lightning'
4. Aphex Twin 'Richard D James album'
5. The Prodigy 'Experience'
6. Rainbow 'Rising'
7. Obituary 'Cause of Death'
8. The Chemical Brothers 'Dig Your Own Hole'
9. Morbid Angel 'Blessed are the Sick'
10. Lauryn Hill 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill'
It'd probably change beyond all recognition if I did it again in a couple of months time though.

Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown..............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )

As I have said in past threads like these, I consider the following "favorites", not "the best". I like an album for many reasons and it is not always because or mostly because I consider it a work of art.
Ten favorites:
Fennesz - Endless Summer
New Order - Power, Corruption & Lies
Moby - Everything is Wrong
Deepchord Presents Echospace - The Coldest Season
The Knife - Silent Shout
Vladislav Delay - Demo(n) Tracks
Pole - 3
Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein
Junior Boys - Last Exit
Milton Nascimento e Lô Borges - Clube Da Esquina

Here's mine in no order:
Eagles - Hotel California
Doors - Waiting For The Sun
Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland
Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Deja Vu
Leonard Cohen - Songs Of
Pink Floyd - The Wall
John Prine - John Prine
Queen - A Night At The Opera
Led Zeppelin - I
Obviously after seeing some other members posts, there are some albums there, that I would have included if I expanded my list. I did mine the day after I started this and forgot to post at the time, so it was not influenced by others. Mine are all from that 60's-70's period and noticeably absent are any Beatles/Stones only because I wanted to stick with 10, and if I included them, they would be my whole list. So I ruled them out.
