It's tough.
My dad and I have argued for years over who is better - I say Danny Carey of Tool, he says Carter Beauford of Dave Matthews Band. They're both masters of their instruments.
I've just discovered Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater/Liquid Tension Experiment. He's amazing as well =]
It's a tough choice...

I like Neil Peart a lot too.
Dave Wekcl (dunno how to spell)
Mike Mangini.

Hands down for me Carter Beauford. Such a creative drummer. I'm trying to think of another drummer, he played with Sting for a while I believe he was French maybe it will come to me later.

Travis Barker is great, sure. and Im not percussionist, but Ive seen some really awesome Buddy Rich videos from back in the day and along with a few other drummers of his age, id consider him to be one of the most talented.
search buddy rich one handed roll or variations of that.
This is what wikipedia has to say about him.
"Rich's technique has been one of the most standardized and coveted in drumming. His dexterity, speed and smooth execution are considered "holy grails" of drum technique and has been considered almost next to impossible to duplicate. While Rich typically held his sticks using traditional grip, he was also a skilled "match grip" player, and was one of few drummers to master the one-handed roll on both hands. Some of his more spectacular moves are crossover riffs, where he would criss-cross his arms from one drum to another, sometimes over the arm, and even under the arm at great speed."

John Bonham is easily one of my all time favorites.
