our brains work in mysterious ways in the way they connect seemingly unrelated items and make them sound as if they belong together and this is just one example of that

Sir Bob's turn today ... "Things Have Changed" - too true ... and they always will.

Good grief. Nobody's had an earworm for ages! LOL! "Uroboros" is mine currently and pretty darn unshakeable it is too. Sorry to be so absent, quite a year, this January has been!!

This one has been rattling around in my head for an entire week now and does not appear to be leaving! And just in case anyone thinks there is something deep and meaningful going on, in the words of Mr Young himself ... "What the f**k am I doing writing about Aztecs in 'Cortez the Killer' like I was there, wandering around? 'Cause I only read about it in a few books. A lotta shit I just made up because it came to me." (from Shakey, Jimmy McDonough's biography of Young)
Maybe he was just being self-deprecating - who knows??!

That bio mentioned is the one I read that really turned me off on Mr. Young

"shakey", yup, he is a real 'piece of crap' as a human being...
yet "cortez the killer" is an absolute masterpiece of a song IMO (up there with "like a hurricane" for me!)
