their harmonies are simply exquisite as always
quality songwriting and production as usual
their upbeat songs are still foot-tappin catchy
the only issue i really have with the album is that i would have preferred tracks 8 and 9 switched around but what would i know. LOL

Josh Tillman's eighteenth career studio album, sixth as Father john Misty
i own all six plus the first two fleet Foxes albums on which he appears
album opens with a nine minute masterpiece to lay the foundations for the rest of the album
superb songwriting, storytelling, harmonies and production
album is more uptempo in a lot of places than most of his previous works which is pretty cool
theres also the usual lush orchestrations and string sections as he quietens things down
a great artist that always delivers the goods IMO
