^ I am very paranoid regarding food poisoning now ! I think my digestive system is weaker due to old age ! Can't handle spicy foods.Our friends recommended a really good pizza joint and after we ate it we got really sick ! Suffered for hours.

Takeout tonight - Indian dish - Methi Malai Maas - pieces of lamb with minced lamb, methi and spinach - love this dish. And as always garlic and coriander nan bread.

speaking of Indian...
well not really Indian but i noticed Dani bought a kilo of mixed chicken pieces at the store a couple of days ago in the frozen section,
that means one thing....her homemade curry is on the way shortly.

Give it a try sometime Crazy Man. I think it's absolutely bloody delicious. There's an Indian restaurant in the village and they make some amazing stuff. They have the normal run of the mill stuff, which is just as good - don't get me wrong, but they have some unusual dishes as well - sort of hybrid cooking - there's a name for it but my brain won't tell me. Ruby probably knows.

Methi is fenugreek which I didn't know until a couple of years ago when needing to use it in a recipe. Many different names for things, like rocket/arugula and dhanya/coriander/cilantro. There's a fantastic spice shop in the Bo-Kaap which has been around forever. You can find almost anything under the sun in there - including methi.
