Was doing some shopping the other day and I heard this South African accent at the butcher's. Turns out this guy has just joined them and had just finished making 'boerewors' - famer's sausage, which is unique to SA (I think). A kind of spicy sausage. Very good for barbecues. Bought some - haven't had it in many moons. Very good.
As for salmon (CH's post above) - I only like salmon cold with mustard. I just cannot eat hot salmon for some bizarre reason. One of my quirks. Often have it for breakfast followed by espresso.

couldn't be really bothered with dinner tonight, made a couple of ham and cheese sandwiches with a cup of English Breakfast Tea in front of the heater watching a comedy on Netflix.
