i think that we are all in agreeance that Kanye West is without doubt "king of the dickheads" most of the time but you cant knock his charity work and once again he proves that when it counts he is up there putting his money where his mouth is:

one of Australia's Health Chief's (now retired) believes this is how things will pan out with C-19 with life returning to normal here,
and we are a lot better off than other countries around the globe. and assuming things don't get worse from this point, which I believe they will as Flu season is just about upon us.
in fact, being diabetic I am now entitled to a free flu shot every year and ive booked in for mine this afternoon.
I usually get one every year but it costs me $30.

Spain - 6740 new cases in one day. This thing isn't going away people. Its getting worse. Humankind is going to have to seriously re-evaluate how it goes about it's business. The current model is just not going to work anymore. Reboot required. Big time.

global death toll now passes 200,000.
our State Government is slowly easing restrictions as from tomorrow, 27th April.
congregations of people can increase from 2 persons to 10 is the main one, a few other minor changes also.
personally, I think its about a month too early, one day of no new cases here doesn't mean much to me especially as Flu season
is right around the corner.
anyway,
latest figures from across Australia:
Australian Capital Territory: 0 new cases. Total cases 106 (all but five recovered)
New South Wales: 8 new cases. Total cases 3,002 (all but 758 recovered)
Northern Territory: No update today. Total cases 27 (all but five recovered)
Queensland: 3 new cases. Total cases 1,030 (all but 223 recovered)
South Australia: 0 new cases. Total cases 438 (all but 32 recovered)
Tasmania: no case update yet today. One new death. Total cases 208 (all but 83 recovered)
Victoria: 3 new cases, one new death. Total cases 1,349 (all but 70 recovered)
Western Australia: 0 new cases. Total cases 549 (all but 63 recovered)
Australia totals
Cases: 6,711
Deaths: 83
Tests: 506,000 (one of those tests was Dani, she felt sick last week, her boss ordered her to have the test as a precautionary measure as she works in Pharmacy - result negative)
GP consultations: 5.4 million

I agree CH - it's too soon. People are getting pissed off because they have to stay at home. So they are bitching and moaning and protesting that they need to go back to the way things were. They are going to be complaining a hell of a lot more when they catch this thing. Stupid to ease up at this point. I know it's not easy but to relax controls now is a major mistake. Watch the second wave come in over the next few weeks. Many countries have not even hit the peak yet. Their healthcare systems are going to be swamped and they will not be able to deal with the fallout. And that opens the door for far more infections to take place. People forget - you don't have to be sick to spread this thing - just alive. And I have been reading some seriously disturbing articles about mass starvation now threatening some countries. Reminds me of that old Chinese proverb - 'May you live in interesting times'...

I for one will be continuing to do what I am currently doing ie:
going for my early morning walk really early (pre-dawn)
staying home unless I need to go out.
going for my evening walk late (post-sunset.)
