something I came up with for a change:
thin sliced potatoes layered with pasta and zucchini with a béchamel sauce, topped with salmon fillets and baked in oven

nothing smells as nice/homely/comforting as the smell of bread cooking in the oven, or when it emerges from the oven.

I don't mind eating leftovers, saves throwing perfectly good food away so...
leftover meatloaf tonight,
sliced and lightly fried in olive oil to crisp up the edges
accompanied with peas and beans.

This morning I am having a particularly nasty bout of gout. Ankle swollen up like a bloody tennis ball. Supposed to be going into the office today. I can barely get across the room. Something I had last night did not agree with the old body at all. I had chicken tikka salad amongst other bits and pieces. Suspect the salad dressing. That's the last time I have that! Bugger.

wont be long before the weather isn't suitable for BBQ's so we had one this evening with fresh Garden Salad...awesome!
