love all those 60's hits
and even the Freeway song JOSH mentioned that album Who's Zoomin Who? from 1985 was considered a comeback album being her highest charting since the 70's it also gave us this standout for me

CHAS HODGES

GEOFF EMERICK (sound engineer)
aged: 72 cause of death: cardiac arrest without George Martin and Geoff Emerick revolutionising the recording processes and inventing techniques that artists take for granted in the music industry a lot of classic albums we know today would probably not sound like they do: Geoff worked as sound engineer on a range of artists albums/songs from Beatles, Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, Robin Trower, Hollies, Split Enz. Stealers Wheel, Judy Garland etc etc

I know very little of his music and only own a 20 track compilation... anyway, heres his signature tune:

PETE SHELLY
aged 63 C.O.D: Cardiac Arrest one of the most influential musicians from the UK has just dies, lead vocals/writer/guitar with punk band Buzzcocks, was also a successful solo artist in the UK...I always thought of his solo work to be very similar to that of Peter Gabriel... I wasn't a big fan of Buzzcocks but did like several of their singles, unfortunately, I never bought any...
