Hmm, I like that much more than "Last Christmas"; they should play that one instead.

i never would have guessed that GM would have received so many replies with different tracks...
I guess he was more respected than I thought because he never gets mentioned much on the forum...

Eventually it did...
Not his song, but I really love this duet... And he really shows his vocal skills in this one, IMO

R.I.P. George Michael. Didn't listen to Wham and don't know much of his music except collabs with Elton John and Queen. He had a great voice though, and I'm sorry to see yet another fatality this year!!

latest update:
it appears George Michael had a well hidden/secret addiction to heroin which spiralled out of control over the last year or so:

heres the latest article from MSN:

Doesn't that slogan on the shirt seem ironic now - [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

Heroin is a bastard of a drug. Not many make it back from the brink.

I mentioned earlier that just a couple of days before his death I had placed an order for Patience from a seller on Discogs.

I did not expect quick service over the Xmas period, but I was a bit worried yesterday when I logged in to check the status of the order and saw "Payment Pending", since I had already sent payment. I started to worry whether he had quietly taken it off the market in the hope of getting a better price, after GM's death. I sent a follow-up email.

Got my response today. He says it shipped on Jan 2, but he forgot to update the order status.

Considering the problems I had with locating this album and then buying it, it is extremely well named.
