William Wyman âBillyâ Sherwood â born 14 March 1965, Las Vegas, Nevada. Billy is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, producer and engineer. He was brought in to join Yes by Chris Squire, post Jon Anderson and Trevor Rabin - his prog roots and prowess are unmistakeable.
Heâs made a number of solo releases as well as two with Chris Squire (they called themselves âConspiracyâ), a good few with Circa (members all associated with Yes), the Pink Floyd tribute albums Back Against the Wall and Return to the Dark Side of the Moon, and he has a whole long list of collaborations with others too â this being one of them; Shackletonâs Voyage by the German prog project Eureka. Iâll be listening to a lot more of his work â¦
