Covid-19
^^
the scary thing is, that if the virus didnt escape a lab in Wuhan, something similar would have escaped (and possibly still could do) from a lab in Berlin, London, Los Alamos, Moscow etc etc....
then again, wouldnt surprise me if AIDS, SARS etc were manmade viruses....

the Americans have been creating and releasing viruses since the 1950s (even on their own citizens!)

190 million + now....

looks like the UK could be in the grip of another wave now as cases have soared again in the last week or so with 40-50K new infecitons on a daily basis again...

here in Australia there have been around 600 new cases this week (thats pretty high for us),
most of them have been on the East Coast, only a handful here on th West Coast and they are 'returned travellers' as opposed to local community infections...

192 million cases now...

the Delta virus seems to be spreading across Australia at the moment...
80-100 cases a day in New South Wales
10-30 a day in Victoria
a handful a day in South Australia and Queensland...
so it is slowly marching towards the Northern Territory and here in Western Australia...

i know i am so-called 'fully vaccinated' but it is still a worry because of the unknowns surrounding the vaccine...

hearing some stories of late about the longterm effects of contracting the virus,
numerous persons in Australia who caught Covid back last year now have no smell and/or taste since recovering !!!!!

looks like France is introducing mandatory vaccine certification proof to enter its museums, art galleries, eiffel tower (and other cultural centres)...
Italy has said it will follow suit from August also...

^^
this is the way of the future and the 'norm' in a covid world, worldwide by the looks of it (unless you are Eirc Clapton or Van Morrison !)

I would just like to add that I am now fed up hearing about Covid on every news channel and radio show. It's relentlessly annoying. Itching to go somewhere exotic and see something new and different.

looks like Indonesia is now the "covid capitol of the world".
they had 2,000+ deaths yesterday, (over 7000 for the week) and over 200,000 new cases htis last week also...
mass burials like the ones we saw in NYC last year and more recently in India are still shocking to watch.
