You will be fine with the Pfizer Vac Ruby. Efficacy of the Pfizer jab drops quite sharply when it comes up against the Delta variant but it does prevent severe symptoms if you do get infected. That's according to the latest info anyway. I believe that cases in SA are soaring at the moment.

two people i know had their first Pfizer shot on Saturday, neither have had any side effects.

Over 4 million now 'officially' dead as a result of C-19. Heaven only knows what the real number is. And the real number of infections worldwide is much, much higher than the current reported figure of 185 million. I am willing to bet it exceeds half a billion people by now.

im with you Jerome, i suspect the total has to be triple what the official records say (infections and deaths!) the virus has apparently surged again in Russia, not good at all!

Vax done and dusted with a minimum of fuss.
Will be a lot happier when the second one is done too! I see we're moving up the board again. I'm actually surprised our numbers aren't a whole lot worse tbh.

The first shot is just a primer Ruby. You will only have a degree of protection 10 to 14 days after the second shot. But at least it's a step in the right direction.

Yes, for sure – it’s the least one can do.
They included an info leaflet with the vaccination card which is pretty clear and informative - I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency I must say!

had my second dose of Astra Zeneca at 8:15 this morning...
no problems, no side effects (that im aware of anyway)... should be able to download my immunisation certificate from the Govt website in a few days....
