^Yes it is very good!
I also have the Zombies most recent release, Breathe Out, Breath In, and itâs such a pleasure to listen to. Ok, the line-up has changed a bit â Jim Rodford on bass and his son Steve on drums, Tom Tooney on lead, but Colin Blunstone is still singing like an angel and Rod Argent is a genius. To be honest with myself - in the grand scheme of things, I recognise that itâs a tad anachronistic, but I really donât care! They are brilliant, accomplished musicians and after forty years of making excellent music in their different incarnations, they donât need to prove themselves to anyone â at all. For me, listening to this latest album is like dancing with someone who knows how to lead â in totally safe hands! What a relief â they know sound (and song structure)!!

Dave Lambert â born 08 March 1949, in England. Before Strawbs he was associated with the bands Fire and the King Early Boogie Band, neither of whom I know. He joined the Strawbs in 1972 and stayed with them until 1978.
He is a songwriter, vocalist and lead guitarist, responsible for writing/co-writing a number of the songs on Strawbsâ albums as well as singing some of them. He also did solo work and an album with Chas Cronk, the bass guitarist of Strawbs (who incidentally toured with Steve Hackett and recorded with Rick Wakeman too â really need to get a genealogy of rock sometime â so confusing, all this band member interchange!), which seems to be impossible to find anywhere â to listen to. Dave Cousins was such a larger than life figure in Strawbs that itâs easy to forget what a vital role the others played and Lambertâs discography with the band is extensive.
I found one track on YT from his solo album Framed â released in 1978 â¦

Robin Leonard Trower â born 09 March 1945 - another very influential, exceptional English rock guitarist. He first gained recognition with Procol Harum and then went on to form The Robin Tower Band. He has also recorded with both Jack Bruce (ex Cream) and Bryan Ferry. Bridge of Sighs is his most famous album, but I like In City Dreams as well, and particularly this song (with James Dewar's vocal) â¦

Neneh Cherry - born 10 March 1964. Grew up in an illustrious musical environment - her birth father is Ahmadu Jah, from Sierra Leone - renowned drummer and a chief (if I'm not mistaken) and she is the adopted step-daughter of Don Cherry who married her mother, half-sister to Eagle Eye Cherry, and half sister to Titiyo - all award winning musicians. Neneh is a DJ and a rapper of sorts, and she has an exhaustive list of collaborations with various people. I don't know her stuff and am unlikely to seek it out, but I do know and love this fantastic song with Youssou N'Dour -

These guys may be known as the clown princes of rock and roll (and that irreverence has kept them out of the R&R HOF) but they are not so easily dismissed--both had solid careers in other artistic fields. It's labeled about Dean Torrence but talks about both:

KISS were always regarded as 'jokes' and 'dismissed' by the record industry"powers that be".....
and yet they were finally inducted last year after forty years of pleasing fans worldwide....
so like i said...theres hope for Jan & Dean yet.
