Mystery, esoteric, horror movies. What are the best ones?
#21
It has been too long since I saw the first Saw movie. But thinking back it did have some twists and turns (literally). It might be worth me watching it again before commenting any further.

On the Netflix note, I have heard similar stories to what you describe. Can you not get 'LoveFilm' in the States? Better choice and you can still postal rent by DVD for the newer and bigger hit films.

Hey, techman, I've just read that you're going to give the movies I've suggested a go; so I hope you like them!
Well, finally I watched American Horror Story Asylum some hours ago... can't give an opinion yet; I'd thought I'd be looking forward to watching the 2nd episode so I believed I'd play it right after finishing the 1st one. Well, I didn't end up hooked on it like that but I'll give the next episode a go.
Saturday night I went low key, stayed in with my girlfriend and we watched something we should've watched long, long time ago: It (by S. King).

i like what i would call "sci-fi horror"....the Alien franchise was pretty good IMO,another movie in that genre i loved was a little known one from the 1990s called "event horizon" starring Sam Neil, its sort of like Amitiville Horror in space, great stuff and pretty edge-of-your-seat stuff throughout!
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..."  -  Me 2014.

yes I like sci-if horror. Another good film to checkout is 'cargo' which I believe is a Russian film. Set on a cargo spaceship.
